Bryan and Sherry were married during Bryan's first successful campaign for State Representative. They look forward to their life together and have great hope for the future. They now have three children Leah, Ben and Ava.

Bryan is a graduate of Blue Springs High School. After high school, Bryan obtained a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from the University of Missouri-Columbia. He returned to Blue Springs and was a substitute teacher in the Blue Springs and Lee’s Summit School Districts. Bryan returned to the University of Missouri-Columbia and obtained a law degree in 1999. Bryan now lives with his wife in Blue Springs and is an attorney for Shook, Hardy & Bacon when the legislature is not in session.

Bryan is a member of St. John LaLande Church, Missouri Bar Association, Kansas City Metropolitan Bar Association, KCMBA-YLS Public Service Committee and the Blue Springs Chamber of Commerce.
